Moore Pavilion

Moore Pavilion Lamar MissouriMoore Pavilion, named for Marion ‘Bud” Moore, long time Lamar Free Fair supporter and Chairman, is an example of community and government working hand in hand to achieve great things.

Located in Downtown Lamar, Moore Pavilion is an 138 x 196 foot open air building available to be used for civic events. When not in use for the Farmer’s Market or the Lamar Free Fair Animal exhibit, it is utilized as free covered parking for the downtown area.

The Moore Pavilion can be reserved for events. Contact the Lamar Parks & Recreation office at (417) 682-5851 and check the calendar.

Types of events which Moore Pavilion is ideally suited for would be a craft fair, car show, outdoor dance, a pep rally, “tent” meetings, a circus, a dog show … and so on.
