Please review the changes that were made on February 1, 2019, for the Sanitation Department


Effective February 1, 2019, the following rates and procedures will be followed for Sanitation.

RESIDENTIAL: Minimum basic rate – $15.00 per month for twice a week pickup.
The basic rate includes a limit of (3) containers/bags of no more than 35-gallon and weighing 50 pounds or less for each pickup. When a Holiday is on your pick-up day, on the next day of pickup you may have (6) 35-gallon containers.

Items that are not in a container/bag will not be picked up. (Pickup will be made when prior arrangements have been made at City Hall).

Each container/bag over (3) will be an additional $5 per item and City Hall must be notified 24 hours in advance. The fee must be paid prior to the pickup. (Call 417-682-5554 ext. 1)

Additional oversize items (items that will not fit in a 35-gallon container 50 pounds or under) will cost an additional $25 per item. City Hall will need to be notified 24 hours in advance and fee paid prior to the pickup. (Call 417-682-5554 ext. 1)

You may take your items to the Landfill, on your own, at no cost when you present a utility bill.

Also, don’t forget to recycle whenever possible.
