The Lamar Police Department is investigating a break-in that occurred on July 6, 2016 at the Animal Shelter in Lamar. During the break-in, damage to the facility was documented along with possible theft. Also documented was the movement and mistreatment of animals during the break-in causing physical injury.
The reward has increased to $1100.00 for information leading to an arrest in this incident. If you have information, please contact the Lamar Police Department. This incident report #16-0499 is an open investigation.
